Eaton, Mezzetti Join Century Club

On Tuesday night, Boyd Eaton and Massimiliano Mezzetti both played their 100th league game as Clams. By reaching this mark they join Michael Christiansson (147) and Millard Smith (141) as the only Clams to have surpassed the 100 mark.

To mark their initiation, Smith and Christiansson ordered 100 shots of beer to be delivered to their hotel rooms, one every minute. The two have dealt with the situation very differently. Boyd Eaton is currently hanging out the hotel room window shouting to girls on the street, "Look at my body! I work out!" and he's barely half-way through. Mezzetti, on the other hand, has disappeared with Bushrods PF Jérémy Bauer's girlfriend behind a "Do not Disturb" sign hung on his door. Room service has begun building a beeramid outside his door with all the undelivered shot glasses while his teammates shout cheers in the direction of his room.

GM rhyminsimon commented: "This kind of thing is good for team-building. In fact I'm gonna challenge all the guys to drink the Beeramid of Success in preparation for our home game on the 26th."

Eaton began his tenure with the Clams in season 20. He was an early season pick-up that had been drafted by the quickly dissolved NBA Team New York Knicks of USA V.72. As a Clam, he has averaged 10.5 pt, 3.2 reb, 2 ast, 1.1 stl and 0.7 blk in 28.3 min/g. And he was a fixture of the Ssn 21 IV.30 Runner-up and Ssn 22 IV.30 Championship Drunken Clams.

Mezzetti was acquired in the run up to Ssn 21 from Pullitajad of Eesti III.1. Before joining the Clams, he earned championship rings with Pullitajad (Eesti III.1 S20) and Paris Basket Sud (France V.5 S12). As a Clam, Mezzetti has earned 2 USA IV.30 all-star appearances, was ranked 3rd in MVP voting in Ssn 22, and has averaged 15.9 pt, 11.1 reb, 2.8 ast, 0.7 stl, and 0.7 blk in 31.5 min. And he was key to the success of the Ssn 21 IV.30 Runner-up and Ssn 22 IV.30 Championship Drunken Clams.

beer shots??? that is what I expect from the Tri Lambs.

Down here we prefer some good old fashioned moonshine, even sell it at the concession stands.
