Two Starters Out For Finals

OMAHA - The Racers have reached yet another league finals, but will be without two of their best players.

Big man Bernard Kawski (8218837) and point guard Marcel Kuttner (10909826) were both injured during the team's 91-79 semi-final win over white-red knights (23106), and are out for the season.

Kawski landed awkwardly while taking a jump shot early in the game, while Kuttner was knocked out on a flagrant foul by the Knights' Yasin Esfandiari (19889563).

On the first possession of the fourth quarter, Kuttner positioned himself for an ordinary half-court jump shot, and was aggressively hammered by a clearly frustrated Esfandiari.

"That guy should have been ejected, suspended, and possibly deported," said an angry Jerry Midwest after the game.

If the Racers are to return to Division III - which they pretty much have to do to justify their high payroll - they will have to do it with homegrown backups Leon Cohen (24734105), Demetrius Good (14603075), and Matt Gifford (22085254) playing a more prominent role.

So this season knights chop the racers heads off . Racers will cry again about tough losses.
