Homies sent home rubbing their butts

In what was billed as a showdown turned into a laugher as the DG'ers made themselves at Home against the Homies. Jed Parker led the charge with 25pts and Lil' Oneil almost had a triple double. The win handed the Homies their first loss and created a first place tie and gave hope to what was once thought a throwaway season.

Interestingly the GM downplayed the game. "It was just another game, it really was" remarked the GM. "In the big picture this victory means nothing as there is a lot of basketball to be played." When asked about his team running up the score on their opponents, he replied "Look, we can't tell our guys to stop shooting." "We run our offense, enough said. We try to play defense, we don't do a very good job of it, but we try. The last thing we are ever going to do is tell our guys to stop playing."
