Role Reversal lands DG'ers in the finals

In a surprise, the DG'ers knock off the Great 8 regular season champion Southsound in an 82-75 victory.

The DG'ers who have been the masters of taking leads only to sqander them in the closing minutes found themselves in an unusual position of trailing by 13 going into the 4th quarter. When the dust settled, the DG'ers nearly doubled their point total while displaying an increasingly tough defense.

Their celebration was shortlived as four players were promptly shown the door. Rumors circulated the four players were the responsible for tarring and feathering of their coach.

The GM said "While the Ginger Balls were the best team in the league, the Sounders were the toughest." "We knew after our tussle with the #3 team in Brazil, we could stay with the Sounders." "I don't know if we have any energy left for a team we handled earlier in the season." "We are out of Gas!"
