even worse was that i had 7 players dressed and the game just completely disregarded my lineup instructions.


If the game completely disregarded your lineup instructions, you blanked more than 2 starter spots and the lineup was re-done by the coach because of that.

I never use blank lineups except in BBM matches. I have checked my lineup set and it was

A/F/F
B/G/G
C/C/C
D/D/D
E/E/E

Coach instructions were Follows Depth Chart.

The game started moving the backups about switching D and E then G and E so my backup from SG ended up playing 14 minutes at C. At some point my trainee player E was subbed back in to play minutes at PF. I am sure Marin can confirm but this looks like the same garbage time coding issue as the OP.

As the comment above said, so far I found success with running:

A/F/F
B/G/G
C/C/C
D/D/D
-/E/E

And having only A-G in the lineup of course, with follow depth chart.
