Pinoys take advantage of Malaysia's 4th Q collapse to steal the steal

Our boys had yet another 4th quarter collapse, falling to the Pinoys by a mere 1 point. We were up and looking to pull away in the 3rd quarter, but the Pinoys stepped it up a notch and never looked back. A heart breaking loss for our NT which leaves us stranded at third place and almost no chance to make the semi finals.

Our team strategy took a big blow when starting SF got injured in 3 minutes of the game. He had been specifically selected to counter the LI tactics that the Pinoys utilise.

In a game where all our players played well, our BIGs held their own, shooting 50% FG. Shawal in particular did well, as he was not part of the initial plan for LP.

Samsul had a bad shooting night in comparison with the rest, going 4-14. But made up for it by being a provider with 6 assists and 4 steals.

I don't have much to say about this game, I think we did everything right. Just that a little bad luck stopped us from running away with a steal.

If our other players were not recovering from injuries or poor gameshape, I'm 100% positive the result would have been in our favor.
