I'd like to add that being off 2 steps in your prediction makes the penalty worse (outside while they play inside is worse than predicting balanced).

Also your SG fouled out in 29 minutes, this could have screwed up rotation as your guards don't add up to 96 minutes, meaning another player played SG. Your PP100 at SG is a lot worse too. Do your backup guards have 18+ OD too? In any case, their OD is high too so your wrong prediction combined with your starting SG fouling out might explain the difference in OD rating, or maybe there's a difference in PG defense too.

Also, add to that there is a random factor that can tip games the other way so maybe you were just unlucky too.

This one is a bit irksome to me. Any thoughts? It was a three GDP swing (two wrong guesses for them, one correct guess for us). It feels like we had the better team, lineup and tactic layout, but it still resulted in a loss.

- How is it possible to outscore our team from outside like this?

What happens if you play with OD 16-18 against a team like the czech one? You lose. And that's exactly what you did. With your wrong prediction you crippled your high OD players. You guessed inside and this was wrong, so you received an OD penalty of ~ -7.5%. That's enough to give the czech team a boost. If two teams are equal every skill matters. And you took 1.5 OD skills from your guards.

- How is it possible to the Czech team had bigger OD game result with those players?

The had no negative effect from a wrong prediction.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Are you sure that one wrong prediction can have a -7,5% impact?
In this case its around -7,5% from our current OD?

Following this line, what if if we choose two wrong predictions? Where these percentages are coming from?
Thanks,
Sz.

Yes. From my calculations and test with the NT, my team and some PL teams I came to +10% if you guess both right and -10% if you guess both wrong. The impact of focus and pace is around 7.5% to 2.5%. Could be 8%-2% or 7%-3%. It's a little bit tricky to find it out...

From your OD rating. I don't know if the impact on the skills is the same or higher/lower.

A Look inside team cannot play Inside Isolation efficiently. You need shooters for that and your backcourt didn't deliver. So that's one of the reasons and the other is your FTs. The game was close only because your opponent guessed wrong (and you were right on one account). Otherwise good LP team will always win against a mediocre Inside ISO team.

Hi. I ran your game through moutlinos softwere and i see nothing special in terms of team stats. Czechs shots distribution, their accuracy and everything fully corespond with classic motion tactic. one and only difference between "regular" numbers is between your drives and czech drives. i dont know how high driving skill your players have but in this aspect i see one and only "odd" stat. (czechs had 15/18 and you 3/15) 3/15 is very rare accuracy i havent seen in my games. Maybe this is the way you should look at it - check what players drived in what situations andthrough what players and there might be the key why you lost.
cheers
