Parrots Complete S14 Roster

With the addition of Greek center Alexis Aggeloudis (9424793) the Meidling Parrots have now completed the 12-man roster that will contest season 14 in a very crowded conference. After contracts with the three Italian veterans Bonaventura, Pandolfini, and Risi were terminated during the off-season, Aggeloudis as well as local youth players Thorsten Fussenegger (16835157) and last season's draft Herbert Goryczka (14915114) were added to the team at low cost, resulting in a roster that costs the owner 10% less in salary than the season 13 team. "We had to adjust to economic realities", says Josef Ka. "One of the opportunities we identified in this drive was an adjustment of the balance between starters and backups. We believe that this season's setup is a better match for our situation as a team that realistically has to aim for the middle ranks in the conference." Critics reply that the road from the middle of the conference table to the bottom could be a pretty short one in this season's field of contestants.

Good luck in Season 14, Parrots. I'll be following and cheering for you all the way.
The win over Thalassa stealyournamestate must feel good, as it is those teams that you need to beat this year. Congrats and keep up the good work!

haha, stealyournamestate is great :-D it's really another Vienna city district not far from Meidling. And their manager is a good buddy since season 4 when we started in the same league. Yesterday I was a bit lucky, and hope to remain so.
