Press Announcements

Group llay: Malaysia

Cue: https://youtu.be/mTby-nfFd1I

Our opening shows man in the distance wearing a suit with his back turned to the camera. In front of him is a bank of monitors as the scene looks like something out of a warm room. The man's who face is not shown but the camera focuses in on his lips moving in an emphatic manner on the telephone. Of his hands holding up dossiers on his players, transitioning jnto action from those players into the montage and the stakes for the evening are set.

Announcer: after a unexpected defeat the last time out suddenly tonight's game takes on greater significant ramifications. It is either a situation where the hopes of getting past this stage can start to smolder or a opportunity for those flames to be faned back to life.

The opponent for this evening has several players who look on the surface to be a step ahead of what we have to offer. But ours is a team which has lots of usable pieces, what could be seen as lacking in impact is made up in volume. As this team sits at the moment everyone on the roster has something to offer to the cause.

The question then becomes, just what is the right mixture? Our opponent is led by a wily shrewd manager who knows how to manipulate his charges. He is also a manager keen on picking up on his opponents tactical tendencies. But he does not quite have the level of depth our squad brings to the table. And while depth it seems know a NT setting is not quite as pliable compared to club competition it is still a assest that can turn the tide.

Last week one was given away, thus week a great opportunity to take one back. With that in mind Coachlambini is conferring not just with parties such as khenry but also with others who he thinks can provide a quality opinion on these proceedings.

We got a full week to collectively get ready. Indonesia has stepped up as a scrimmage partner which will allow us to get some good looks and to see how we stack up to someone of a similar pedigree. But the big thing this week is to get ready for the battle NEXT week.
