How to define or seperate those 3 cap stages? For example, after adding 20k salary, the player goes to the next stage?
It's not that simple, I'm afraid. My research shows that the "cap tier lengths" are dynamic. They vary from player to player. If I had to make a guess - every player is probably generated with four different cap limits which are random decimals within certain boundaries:

HoFs:
Player 1 -> 10.18 | 10.64 | 10.82 | 10.94
Player 2 -> 10.33 | 10.57 | 10.78 | 11.00
etc...

Thus one can't exactly predict when the player moves from one cap tier to the next.

I might be wrong ofc. Don't take that for a fact.

Yep. It's not as great as it sounds, though. 25% at 28y.o. means less than a pop per season.

Yeah, my bad. Should be just three. Ignore the fourth value

Cap 1 -> ~70-75% training efficiency
Cap 2 -> ~40-50% training efficiency
Cap 3 -> 25% training efficiency

lets say 100% training is: 0.05 proper training + 0.10 elastic effect.
Reduction for cap affects both or only the first one?

@deanswer

Elastic effect % is always the same, just the coefficient from the training is reduced by the cap.

So in your example, elastic effect will always be 10% of whatever final training coefficient.

A question to mink0ff, what about the subdecimals of potential, HoF specifically 10.00 to 10.99, are you able to estimate what salary/tsp is needed to hit the cap for let's say, 10.50?
