Good luck sa campaign - one thing i noticed with training at 18-19 will be so much faster (25-30% guesstimate) with the youth trainer last mid season. If you really want to grow a guy for Seniors you might make it at 25 instead of age 26-27 This might be a good time to refocus and make long term goals. The problem is you need to get managers really committed long term. We have 250+ active players kahit ma convince mo lang 3-4 players na magtrain for Seniors every season malaking bagay na. Para may continuity ang talent at ma replenish ang roster natin. Sana more Managers can help in training.

Hi coach! The current U21 program encourages more managers to train their players for call ups to Junior NT and Senior NT. We have an enthusiastic group of people communicating with them to reach their target goals not just for U21 but for Senior NT as well.

Thanks for this input boss Obi! Nagtry din ako last few weeks of the last season, estimate ko naman mga 15-20% lang though 19y/o na kasi ung trainee ko and advanced level lang ung youth trainer. Anong level ung sayo idol?

Shout out na din to all trainers out there! Big help talaga ung youth trainer so we really encourage you to invest on one. And please don't hesitate to reach out to our U21 and NT managers. On NT side kahit malayong malayo pa age and skill-wise nasa monitoring na din po ung players, kumbaga bata pa e binabantayan na natin player nyo for NT. Looking forward to your messages guys. 😊

Nikola Smiljanić
Trainer
Skill Level: superior
Specialty: None

Last week's salary: $ 35 837
This week's salary: $ 36 553

Daugintas Baravicius

Youth Trainer
Skill Level: advanced
Specialty: None

Last week's salary: $ 14 431
This week's salary: $ 14 683

This is what i could afford (new team and all - nag lapse yung dating account ko). If my projections are right sa big men 24 dapat kaya na with the boost of the youth trainer. My trainee is superstar level lang malabo for Seniors but on track for u21. Sayang kasi may pagkakataon tayo to build high tsp players with excellent primaries and decent secondaries. Kahit they start out with lower TSP trainable with youth trainer boost. Salaries in rebounding are noticeably higher napansin ko. Haven't seen enough good guards on the TL to notice but i am sure may market correction din yan.

Thanks sa inputs mo boss Obi! Hopefully this encourages more pinoy trainers to invest on youth trainer. Sa mga may experience po dyan in using youth trainer, especially sa mga vets natin dito sa community, please do share your observations malaking tulong for us to produce higher caliber players. 😊

Got our first win against UAE last night. Great performance by our bench despite some dumb decisions by the NT coach. πŸ˜‚

Next up, India! Watch out for potential call ups next week and the comjng weeks. Lets keep the GS up mga idol. Lets go Pinas!

The Philippines opened their Senior NT campaign with a bang as it defeated U.A.E., 126-89, during the curtain raiser of the 43rd season of the Asian Championship tournament.

Reliable veteran Emerson Tapia lead Philippines with a dominant 25 points in just eighteen shots, proving once again his efficiency is just as important as his perennial presence in the Philippine national team.

Combo guard Florian Ignacio happily took advantage of opportunities that Tapia's presence drew, he made 8 of 11 shots from the field to finish with 20 markers while tagging his teammates with seven timely dimes. Backup big man Nonito Inayan came in and made all of his seven shots from the field after Ace Madrigal fouled out in just twenty-two minutes of on-court action. Inayan almost fouled out but was able to carry his own weight and managed to finish the game with 14 points.

The Emiratis were able to trim the lead to eight after Seyed Najjar's one-handed throw-down made it 65-57 with 6:31 left in the third quarter. But that was the closest they could get as the Filipinos drew from their experience and respond with a 16-5 run of their own to keep U.A.E. at a comfortable distance throughout the rest of the game.

Ansari Husseiny lead U.A.E. with 35 huge points for his team but it was not enough to carry the Emiratis who were coming off an 0-8 record from the consolation tournament, they will face off with Hanguk next week.

The Scores:
U.A.E (89)
A. Husseiny 35, Najjar 14, Hajjaji 14, Ibn-Haroun 14, Al-Malky 7, Khoury, 2, Al Oawayran 2, Nasser 2, Sleiman 0, Jaber 0, El Chamid DNP-CD, Yousif DNP-CD.

Philippines (126)
Tapia 25, Ignacio 20, Nisperos 16, Inayan 14, Dorola 13, Dalida 12, Oh 10, Madrigal 9, Carreon 5, Estillore 2, Tenmatay DNP-CD, Caritat DNP-CD
