Wow, he's amazing! I would suggest you train him JR, since he's close in PG/SF/PF salary, and lower in SG.

I'm less knowledgable than Mannon, but I believe you don't need anymore RB pops, for him to be a good SF. I like like his rebounding just as it is.

Also, no more passing, since it will eat cap and increase salary.

Maybe just improve his shooting to 15/14 by training outside shooting, and that's it, whopping 135 skills for a superstar potential.

I have been training a poor man's version of your player, using allstar pot, and lvl 3 coaches

He's at 107 skills, close to popping in some skills, will definitely reach 110
11/11
12/12
12/9
12/10
9/9

Originally, I though to bring him up to 106 skills, but he exceeded that, so I believe your player may get those 4-5 pops easily. Than again, maybe my player had high sublevel in pot. My only other experience in training close to capped players, is a bench warmer, he simply stopped popping at one point, regardless of training.

Also, looking at salary calc, you can safely give your player another pop in SB right now, it won't move him to PF land, but depends on what you plan to train further.

I think if we're all being honest, probably 25% of us would have finished just reading his skills. I like more OD and JR but I think really it'd be hard to go wrong.

I have a similar player, I would recommend 2 more pops on ID.

I got my guy to 12 JR and have not found it very useful for the training time (and to some extent, salary) it took - he either goes up against guys with way more OD or guys with a bit less. The other few pops are (i would think) more up to preference.

2 more ID pops cost around 8500 in salary.
2 more SB pops cost around 1500 in salary.
2 more JR pops cost around 6000 in salary.

That's why I would suggest first SB, then JR, then whatever you like most if training is still effective for him. (I'd stay with JR).

He looks like well-balanced SF. I am also currently training very similar player, after 3 seasons he will be like yours.

If i were you, would train him to get 2 pops in ID, 1 pop in RB und 1 pop in SR.

Considering your player is at his 25, say next season 26, you can play him for at least 6-7 seasons.

I think a well-balanced SF, capable of both outside and inside play, is of great importance.
With such a good SF, one have obviously 2 main advantages.

Primarily, 16 ID and 16 OD are well enough to support every aspect of team-defence, you will never give a SF mismatch opportunity to opponent. (Having SF's with one-way defence skills like 17 OD 10 ID or vice versa, will lead many time to mismatches, especially against teams playing with centers at SF position and inside focused offence tactics).

Secondly, 14 OS and 14 IS (prefer however 16-16 :))are well enough to support every aspect of team-offence, this time you take advantage of mismatch, your SF can go for the jugular)

In my opinion he is too close to the cap to give him 2 x ID + 1 x RB + something else.

Also, why is 14 ID + 14 SB worse than 16 ID + 12 SB? The later is definately more expensive though.
