I agree 100%. And, as I said in another thread, it is important to point out that we have not yet had the time to "create" players/teams built in order to specifically utilize that particular defense tactic. That's why I believe it is immensely important not to make any further "improvements" to 2-3, at least not at this time. It looks promising enough to me right now.

just curious, what player/team built do you have in mind to take advantage of a 2-3 zone?

as things currently stands, I have my doubts about the ceiling of 2-3 zone, but am curious about everyone's opinions

Agree.

Usually 2-3 Zone is used when the opponent's inside is strong, and your inside is relatively weak.
If the opponent outside is also strong, their guards will have higher accuarcy in outside shot.
But the opponent outside is not as strong , and your outside skills is strong (this is most of the case), the opponent's guards also do not seem to perform better, but the opponent will dominate you less in inside in this case. That's the effectiveness of the 2-3 Zone.

If you have a poor OD, they will have more open shot ( and higher conversion rate, but the open shot scored or not just depends on the probability)

This is only my observation, it may be not correct. If that is the case, please correct it.
