I'm 33 and live in Louisville, Ky.
I'm an analyst for a company that makes software for home health and hospice agencies.
I used to work for a larger company with Digler (Chicken Hawks) and he introduced me to this game.
I have an eleven month old daughter and I've been married for 12 years.
I graduated from the University of Louisville and I enjoy following UofL's men's and women's basketball teams as well as the NBA and the Cincinnati Reds.
I love Miley Cyrus.

I'm 56 years old. (insert old jokes here) and I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I work as an Electronic Repairman at a local Iron Mine. I like watching Detroit sports teams, and drinking Captain Morgan on weekends. I'm married and have one son who is 29, he got me started playing buzzerbeater. His team name is Sinshooters.

Laugh my ass off on that one. BB is actually pretty tame when it comes to online gaming IMO. It's still funny though. Like when D&D was considered Devil Worship.

Have you hit 70 degrees up there yet? Finally had a nice day for Easter here.

About the nerdy number crunchers...I was guessing most players here to be accounting, project management, or IT. But it is interesting to see the diversity anyway.

Nerds are starting to rule the world. Might as well own BB as well.

Yes, the last two days have been over 70. The snow is melting like crazy. You've heard of A River Runs Through It? Well, thats my backyard right now.

I would suggest working for a smaller company...maybe 1-10 employees to get your feet wet.

Get to know the owner really well and how he handles the work.

Anyway, the smaller the company the more diversity in the work you do.

Another suggestion would be to try to get on the ground floor of any company you decide to start with. The earlier you start with a newer company the more likely you are to be able to have a substantial ownership provided to you for the risk involved.

Just some thoughts coming from someone who works at a 100-200 employee company. Its good to be apart of decision making process when it comes to wherever you decide to work. That ends up being the most important thing IMO and the most rewarding aspect to me.

I have looked for several small businesses to work at but it is very hard to almost impossible here in Indiana. Problem is I have a few really good ideas but I'm trying to find a couple mentors to really help me get started. But, once again, it is very hard in Indiana. People are just different here. That's all I have to say.

I was diagnosed with Bipolar a couple years ago. Considering how messed up my brain was for about 6 months I am very glad my wife and my job held intact. One thing I learned is that I need medication to keep from getting too high. My brain will just get out of control if I let it, and then the worst part is the crash afterwards. But I had some amazing ideas when I was high LOL. Most of them were completely useless but anyway...
