Hello All - new season, new thread...
As usual, I made terrible picks, but on a brighter side, we had two terrific draft picks... Unfortunately, both picks are also leaving our league...
"Tobias Berrios was pick 1 in the season 19 draft by Issaquah Iguanas."
"Zhang Xinbin was pick 3 in the season 19 draft by Rougher Nation."
Anyone wants to boasts about their draftee?

Otis Jordan wasn't too shabby of a pick up for me. $4K Superstar 6-1 18yo PG with pitiful experience, though the hole in IS is a bit of a bummer:
Jump Shot: mediocre Jump Range: average
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: average
Driving: average Passing: average
Inside Shot: atrocious Inside Def.: pitiful
Rebounding: awful Shot Blocking: pitiful
Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: respectable
Experience: pitiful
Based off the quality of the first few picks, it looks like quite a few people actually put money into the draft this season.
Happy to get my second preference, though I am really interested in what Zhang Xinbin's skills on Rougher Nation looks like. I scouted him and was intrigued by the 6-3 MVP-HOF C prospect.

Berrios is a decent SG, who I was hoping would have the starting skills to train into a PF or SF. He looks like this:
Jump Shot: average Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: average Handling: pitiful
Driving: mediocre Passing: awful
Inside Shot: pitiful Inside Def.: awful
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: respectable
Stamina: pitiful Free Throw: pitiful
Experience: atrocious
Based on the Economy info, I really thought that I was one of the only ones spending money on scouting. When I decided to sell off most of my team, I had hoped that I'd get two solid prospect out of the draft, but no such luck. ;)

I'd like to see Xinbin's skills, too! He was #2 on my prospect list. I'd also like to see Lincoln Cervantes (#3 on my list). Otis Jordan was my #4.

It looks like you have some interest in the 22nd pick in the draft? Too bad he is 19.

&$@! First game of the season is a rematch of the first round upset against Shameless. Pretty sure that they have been trolling Lane Bryant nailing as many slumpbusters as possible to get karma on their side.
A positive of the schedule is the All-Star game on the 4th of July. Better be all American starters (No Chicoms who go soft and get "hurt"in the finals allowed petersburg.)

And also, who here is in charge of the II.1 mentor program? I need a mentor. One preferably that likes to drink a lot.
