Is player exhaustion a random occuring event for a player 27+ year old?
I was going thorugh the last B3 tournament and noticed that:
- in the Finals not a single player got exhausted.
- In the semi-finals, there were 2 exhaustion events in one game and 0 in the other.

All players were above 30.
Edit: And all managers were using a small lineup

Does the Gym reduce the effectiveness of primary training for older trainees (24+ age)? With 24-25 year olds I want focused training i.e 1 skill per training week with as much efficiency as possible. Should I downgrade my Gym with such players to get most training % into the skill I target?

I don't remember BB ever confirming this.
But I think most people believe it doesn’t affect the original training effectiveness.

Just to confirm, 46 min 31 sec is enought to get full training for players who are 20-26 year old?

No.
Players aged 20 to 26 need 47 minutes (or 2820 seconds) to receive full training.

If you train guards (PG/SG) or wings (SG/SF) does it matter what their position is at there player profile OR at what position they have played? For example, I want to train my SF, will he improve when training 'guards' if he played 48 min in a game this week?

No, he played SF and you are training PG/SG. Why did you think he would get trained? Play him at SG and switch him on D to defend the SF. Easy as that.

The game manual says,
Best Position: As with the DMI, this is a very rough guideline, and some would even say a meaningless one. You should play your players at the positions that make the most sense to the team, regardless of whether it is his listed position.

From the second drop-down menu, you can choose which player positions to train. Players will only get better with a combination of out-of-game training and in-game experience, so you can have the coach choose to train one or two key players per week, who will then show a rapid improvement, or to train three or more positions with reduced effectiveness.
For a player to improve a skill, the position in the training plan must match the position they play on the court.
