Princeton can work, but it is difficult to get it work.

First and most important, you need all-round players at every position!

Normally your sg,sf and pf will take the most shot, but!!!!! some games it will be your pg going off and even sometimes your center.

Biggest problem are the pointless streches. One minute you are really happy how it is going and a few minutes later everything is missed.

Also when you play against 3-2 zone, it gets difficult to win.

I believe you only should play it, when you know your defense and rebounding can win the game.

My limited experience trying it for a couple seasons is that your bigs will rack up the assists if they have good passing. I believe the offense tries to space the floor. One of the key sets seems to have the balll with your big who then tries to find a guard cutting to the rim, or taking the long shot. If your big doesn't have good passing, it will muck up the entire situation.
