Interesting. If I sell O'Dwyer I may be able to afford him. Do you know when he is going to list him?

I would be happy to take O'Dwyer off your hands. What do you think he is worth? I will need to sell Goulders first but would be very interested in making his move. I am hoping to put an all canadian team together and this would be a nice step in that direction.

Well, the estimates are 1-1.2 million. I would like to get at least 1.2, maybe even 1.5 out of him. I don't know if that is overpriced or not, but in order to get Williams, that's what I'd need. It still may not be plausible though, with Stronks steadily increasing his salary each year. It's something to think about though for sure and I may make the move.

Leaning towards becoming a farm team next season. I'm not making enough money or progress to be worth the time and seasons being expended (mostly user-related since my weekly resources are being used on such unnecessary mediocrity) and I probably don't have the patience for a rebuild.

The good news is that I'll only be targeting Canadian players and might pay silly prices for players I truly like. Keep in mind that I am picky, though. Not sure if this is allowed, but feel free to PM me the skills of any trainable Canadian players you have for sale that aren't on the TL and maybe a deal can be reached.

Looking mostly for:

-MVP+ potential
-Monster salary players or players who can become monsters (including centres). Mono-skilled = meh.
-Players on the cusp of NT or U21 NT
-Solid secondary skills usually a plus
-Young players who have received training
-Other nifty players with desirable skill sets that can become NTers.

After looking at the transfer list, I'm not enthusiastic about this.

Well, assuming I stay in Naismith, I'll keep Stronks. If I get demoted or can't afford him, you could be the perfect person to buy him. I plan on training him to ridiculous salary to be one of the best in the world if possible.

Good luck. Will let you know if I hear about any good players for sale or potentially for sale. There's not a lot of great players in Canada, so to be an actual farm team, you would basically need to buy some prospects and demote while you train them, then come back up with those trainees as your stars.

I bought Demers, Gaize, and Hadley for almost $9.5 million, but the only way to get them is to overpay.

I may know of an All-Time Great player. I just down-graded my trainer because his salary was getting out of control. With the amount I'm saving each week, plus my attendance hopefully picking up after inexplicably crashing this season, I should be able to purchase a solid trainer shortly. However, if I can't do it, I don't want all that potential to go to waste. Any changes would be made during the off-season.

Your attendance crashed because in promoting or demoting to a new league, in your case last season with promoting, you received a substantial promotion bonus that stuck with you for 3/4 the season and slowly or unnoticeably deteriorated from there. Then it's gone after the season. The demotion effect is the opposite, only 10x worse.

Anyways, would obv be interested in him (and also Stronks who was mentioned earlier). He's your baby though, so I'm not too optimistic. :D

Yeah, I wish the fans had a bit better memory..... I finished fifth in the league last year, dropped my ticket prices, and am doing okay this season, but they still stay away..... I was also stupid and spent 800k expanding my arena - just plain dumb. If I'd saved the money I could have bought a couple veteran players and probably been in a position to at least challenge for a promotion to Naismith.

I don't if that was my experience with demoting. I had a 10-12 record last season and for the most part this season for the question about my fans satisfaction with the previous season, I've been at 2-2.5 and my attendance has been alright when I haven't lost away games. I think regular season record (or maybe total record) is more important than just demotion.
