hahaha... That was just a start of my welcome message, but don't think i haven't been paying attention.
I've noticed... and is under the impression that you're revamping your team... which I'm really excited to see the outcome of.

And as for the consolation tournament... seeing the Asian teams roster is just a benchmark.
European teams are gonna be strong as heck. I will take your advice and scrape up as many win-able games as possible

good luck to you in the election! vote people vote!

Ouch Perpete, the NT got stuffed in a pretty tough pool. Good luck to ya! Get whatever win you can.

Vote people vote!!!
thanks

and as you might have guessed. We are down to 9 managers again.
some of his players are on sale

and please please please... you guys are usually good with gameshape management, so I don't doubt you, but just a reminder... good gameshapes goes a long way, so please try to manage your players 48-72 minutes per week =)

But hopefully with your work, there will be a couple of young players that will make a run for the team in the next couple of seasons Especially with the great draft this season So, the future looks bright - now it's just a lot of work, training all those talented players and keeping the managers motivated...

Well Well... what to say so far this early in the season

First let's welcome back EGM-Perpete on being elected the NT manager once again. He has a vision, and I'll try to do my part to help him out to see it thought with him for the longevity of Korea's national program

Next I'd like to thank LA - Wendell Alexis. I don't know what association you have with this community, but I do notice that you have tuned in on my posts last season and I'd like to welcome you. Hopefully you can win that bid to one of our young players and help out in developing our program, because we really could use all the experienced help we could get

Seoul Sacrum Tigers - looks like your players have come off the offseason out of shape. They are getting beaten up out there. 4 weeks injury?!?! That's gotta put a hamper on your early season standings... but I know you'll make a strong comeback... you have a solid team

As for the U21... our schedule is out. We'll be playing Shqipëria U21 and Paraguay U21 for the first 2 weeks. I've been monitoring some of your game minutes, and it's needless to say... I could really use some good gameshapes for this first week. Hope you guys can manage some of the young gun's playing minutes with your cup game this Thursday. Thanks!

As for our healthy draft this past season... I really do hope you guys can help make the most of it... unfortunately, some of the really good picks went to teams where rookies die off. I'll try my best to save them... so I'll really need all teams to work with me. Here's to hoping that we'll build this thing from the ground up. =)

Cheers everybody!

Well, I've been struggling with injuries since last season, unfortunately.
Skorza even got injured just as the semi-finals game started.

Good luck for this season and congrats Perpete!

Thanks for welcoming me into the Community. I've got a couple of Korean friends just like to follow a couple of different countries (e.g. Scotland). And as I can't keep my mouth shut, I'll just comment on various things - especially when I feel that someone is doing a good job (like you and Perpete).

As for the trainee: even though I forgot to set a lineup for the match yesterday, he'll get full training starting this week. At first he'll
get Reb and later on I'll probably move on to 1-Pos-Training next season.

Good luck for the season, everyone!

Big Win for Korea U21 today!!! Way to start of Season 31!!
I'm at work right now, I'll post a game report in a little while after I watch the replay.
Good job everyone who gave me good Game Shape to work with. Keep it up! I'll need all that we can in the rest of this tournament. =)

Game Report coming soon!

Final Score
Shqipëria U21 60 - 74 Hanguk U21

Since we already know the results, I'll skip the play by play and just give the highlights and breakdown of the game.
- we were missing a lot of shots, but we stuck to it and came out on top
- wow... Kyung-Tae Jung (34707136) played the whole game. ~37.5% shooting - 1st star
really hope we can get some good minutes from everyone this week so I can add to the roster so that I can more evenly distribute the playing time for our players
- Jae-Ho Park (34707133) and Yong-Ha Ryu (34707108) combined for 29 of the team's 45 rebound. Good job guys. - 2nd star
- honorable 3rd star goes to Kyu-Hook Cho (34707101) for holding down their star guard. You might not have had many scoring chances, but defense in this game counts for a lot. Captain of the team leading the way!

Next game is at 6:30pm Eastern Time against Paraguay U21. Haha. Back in my time zone, I should be in game chat if you guys are to wake up early in the morning and watch the game. They have a beast of a player on the inside... and they have home court advantage. We'll have to see how we plan for it.

Good game shapes everybody!!! Try you best!!! The team hangs on you guys. Roster spots are fairly competitive this season, so good training, good game shapes might just earn you a spot on the team! Good luck!

Final Score
Hanguk U21 54 - 82 Paraguay U21

Welcome to the live broadcast of our round robin game in the consolation tournament. We're in tough today against a bit more stronger opponent in Paraguay U21. They have an astonishing beast of a C Silvestre Robles (34051046), thank goodness his gameshape is mediocre, or else this could've gotten ugly fast. He's their starting C today. We elected to go low post, and hopefully it'll attack his weakness a little. Our opponents put more enthusiasm in this game than we did, along with going with an outside offense to capitalize on good gameshapes from their guards. Also to note is a missed game-day prediction (GDP) on my part. Was only hoping that would keep it close, but we'll see how it plays out.

Opening quarter, we ended the quarter down 12-23. Not too bad. A bit of a slow start, combined with more enthusiasm put in by our opponents. Let's continue coverage in the 2nd quarter. Our rebound game is doing good so far, but we're relying heavily on it, as we're missing a lot of shots. With our offensive rebounds, it's certainly giving us an extra chance to score some baskets, but c'mon guys! We need to score! They're 7 for 18 so far in this quarter. We're holding up on defense, but again... we need to score to keep it close! Byung-Joon Nam (36376202), (19 years old) scores his first basket in international competition with 3 mins to go in the quarter. Hoping this is the start of a long promising career for a talented prospect. We end at the half down 23-42. We come out swinging from the half, sinking in our first 2 shots. But Paraguay isn't gonna let us back into the game that easily countering us basket for basket. Kyung-Tae Jung leading a spark, coming off the bench towards the end of the quarter to try to ignite the offense. We fought so hard to have a winning quarter, but ultimately lost the edge, outscored 17-21. At the end of 3 Qs, down 40-63. Final Score 54-82. We broke 50, that's a positive. But ouch, 28 point deficit. That'll certainly hurt our point differential.

Overall, it was a decent effort on our part. Playing on enemy turf, and playing conservatively on effort, I couldn't have asked for more. Could've used some better game shape so that I can have more flexibility with the roster, but I know it's not your faults. You guys tried with proper minutes, the game engine just decided to do what it does. Keep up the good work in training and maintaining. We'll see what next week brings! =)
