I agree that we can't wait for much longer, as we don't have any information on whether or not he´d return. Just as you said, I also agree that I´ve actually been rather too patient than too strict with this situation, so it's better to proceed now.

@T-Lit Unfortunately due to lack of your willingness to communicate/respond to messages and do the necessary pre-season chores within a necessary time frame, I unfortunately have no choice but to exclude your team Buckner Bandits from HGL Season 2, or we won't be able to finish pre-season match organizing and confirmation process in time.
It is necessary to keep communicating to some extent, especially as you were committed to Season 2 (which can be seen from my post that keeps a list of interested and participating teams), and make sure you'll get certain things such as match organization process done in time, and unfortunately neither of these were accomplished by your team.

@everyone else:
So as everyone who has reading these knows, Buckner Bandits will be replaced by Swan River Serpents (SRS) that we all S1 managers know as an initial HGL team, with MrJ at their lead.

I want to see all Regular Season matches organized before season starts on Monday 14th July, and because SRS doesn't have tokens, he can not organize 12 matches as BUC was supposed to.

Important:

In practice this means following, and here's what everyone should know and do:

1. Swan River Serpents (SRS) is officially joined for Season 2 of HGL, and Buckner Bandits are not playing on Season 2

2. Eventually I will replace BUC in schedule with SRS (Swan River Serpents). I don't have time to do that right now, but everyone can proceed with match organizing process by sending challenge to Swan River Serpents.

3. Everybody will play against SRS on the same Round of play, when they were supposed to play against BUC, so when it says 'BUC' as your opponent on your Season 2 schedule, that's the day you use to challenge SRS (Swan River Serpents)

4. Note: Every HGL manager must send match challenge to SRS - he does not send any challenges on Season 2!
So please send me BBMail as soon as possible, if you have 0 tokens and can´t challenge SRS.

5. Easiest way to find the day you play against SRS on Season 2, is check out these posts:
Rounds 1-3: (327517.5)
Rounds 4-15: (327517.6)

6. You will find Swan River Serpents (SRS) team page (for easy PU match challenge sending) here: (197075).

So everyone participating on Season 2, please start sending SRS match challenges on correct days and times (same times than what you used earlier on the match organization process, nothing changes).

Thanks for your response, I sent you BBMail. But just like MrJ already said, this is just a game and RL is RL, which is only thing that matters at the end. But if you´d be willing to join HGL in the future, I hope you'd set up some alerts etc. so that you remember to start the pre-season match organization on time, because that's a small work to do in order to avoid more work for others.
Having said that, I don't know if alerts would've saved Season 2 on your part, but for many it could've (possibly/likely being in different situation as you were anyway) done that, so that`s why reminding of reminders/alerts is worth it.

You're probably aware that I keep a list of teams that are interested in joining HGL in the future, so please send me BBMail or respond here in this thread if/whenever you have decided if you want to be included in the list (and please specify season you´d prefer to start on).

Thanks for your initiative, MrJ. I love stats and sports history records, so they're always good addition, and make the experience so much more rich to myself, and I believe (know) that I'm not alone in that one.

Having them on different thread definitely has it's downs and likely up's, so while I'm bit unsure if it's best to divide HGL related things to too many threads, in a way I see your point(s) of doing that. And like I said, I acknowledge it might have up's as well, as maybe someone might end up reading that thread and become interested of HGL that way ((if those who find their way there will realize/have a way to find out what HGL actually is (in short) without leaving the thread, or have a link to HGL pages in there)), and it's easier to find those stats information from that thread if people first happen to find there.

As is sometimes the case with life, I'm having hard time sharing my attention to HGL right now. Of course I'll have to find time and energy to finalize pre-season checks and tasks (yes, been here already some time doing that and it's 01.40AM), but what that means in practice I can't focus on many other things with lots of energy and thought (which would be sometimes required if giving a thorough and thoughtful response is a goal).
