Nice trainees!! Balanced PF/SF would be my recommended end goal based on both their height and potential.

I would recommend training them in OD first as it tends to be the slowest and passing last as it is the fastest. In between my preferance is a rotation that can get continual pops.

Good luck and be sure to ask it you have any questions as the 18 year old certainly has a chance to be an impact player on the NT, he looks very familiar to Maja when I drafted him and he turned out alright.

Does it make sense to do that here? Isn't this an advantage for opposing coaches to know? That is, if the opposing coach sees the offense-oriented lineup starters listed here are all at proficient GS, there would be a greater propensity to use that tactic. Also, I think it may give up some of the players skills or lackthereof. That's just my opinion, plus I don't see a huge benefit because gameshape, opponents strengths/weaknesses and in the long run, players getting trained should influence the lineup.

Ok,

So look inside/low post:

Williams/Germain I value PA very much on PG, especialy in LI. Also some JR doesnt hurt if he can't get inside. Bowie would also be under consideration

Stronks/Kearns I like their OD obviously, nice secondaries, and great passing on Stronks (for SG)

Essa/ Maja (Essa is still a beast, and Maja should provide nice kick as LI SF coming from the bench)

Demers/Maja (very nice PFs that have good IS and provide great secondaries. Maja can cover both SF and PF sub)

Jutras/Moran (I like skill set on Jutras for a C, but I still had dillema with starting him over Moran, but IS was deciding factor)

Outside offence: (PTB, R&G)

Stronks / Williams

Kearns/ Stavridis (really dont see a great candidate there for a sub, might play Issa there as well)

Essa/ Thomas

Maja/Demers

Moran/Jutras

I believe that in this case PA would be spread out on 1-4 positions so Stronks should be fine at PG, especially Since he and Kearns are good shooters. Essa and Maja also can score from the outside as well as from the inside. I chose Moran as C becuase of his ID and RB, and I believe that this would be our biggest concern with players from 1-4 positions.

For motion I would start Williams over Stronks, and have Stronks cover subs as both PG and SG (bit more OF from that)

You asked for a 3rd lineup. Not really sure what you would expect there since I covered pretty much every major tactic.

Let me know what do you expect. I dont see a point honestly in all defence because that would limit numer of skills affecting it to 2-3 and that's not how this game works.

How about a desperation tactic/lineup for your third lineup?

Ill set the stage. Last game of the qualifying ames for the knockout stages of the consolation tournament. Canada already has 4 losses and making the top 32 is impossible(So obviously a CT). We are up against Poland who is undefeated and somehow not in the worlds(so obviously a TIE). We are grossly outmatched. What tactic/lineup do you use?

@both candidates.

I missed the deadline b/c i had to take care of some personal business and i had no internet access. I cannot run for the position this year, so i will throw my support behind Beanerz.

Goodluck to all managers vying for the position.

To be honest with you, as the history has shown that game can't be won. We might count on luck and maybe use fast-paced offence such as R&G, try to drive up the score, and hope for tons of luck, but I would also consider playing patient with only small players on the roster:

Tactic: patient 1-3-1

Williams/Bowie
Germain/Stavridis
Essa/ Issa
Kearns/ Chretien
Stronks/Maja

Maja is there mostly because lack of players with great OD and JS, JR, but he also has shooting advantage over most centres in this game. Obviously the stats that I would try to inflate are OD (hoping that we might stop the ball from getting inside. If we can't do that then we are screwed anyway), OF (so we are the team that can get ball to PF and C and they can use their JS&JR) and outside shooting. Totally letting go of rebounding and ID. As I said, there is little chance of success in a game like that, but a risky and unusual tactic like that has a chance to work (and backfire of course, but if it's a last game then we dont care about PD anyway)

Hoping that answers your question
