Which is faster for getting quick pops for my bigs sub skills one v. one or handling training.

Also, I'm in D.5 with my eyes on last place. so playing my players way out of position is fine by me. Just whatever is faster, because next season I'll probably sell one of my trainees and i want to milk some quick sub skill pops out of him before I put him up.

One position handling gives essentially the same number of pops per week *per player* as 1 on 1 does. The advantage of 1 on 1 is that the pops aren't limited to handling and driving, but also increase JS and for the forwards version, IS.

I could see a case for the handling training if you have a player that desperately needs handling and driving but can't afford JS increases, and if you couldn't find extra players for the 1 on 1 training. Other than that scenario, I'd endorse 1 on 1.

Of course handling is not limited to just driving & handling
it offers lesser training in OD as well

True, but based on the training analysis data it's at less than 1 pop per 10 weeks for an 18 year old player at 6'0, so while it should have been mentioned, it's still hardly worth mentioning. ;)

Actually
OD gives about a pop and a half per season (10%) 18 yrs any height
1 on 1 for a 7 footer 18 yr old gives IS (16%) and JS (22%)

So, to sum it up, over the course of a season handling training gets 3 players roughly 1.5 pops of OD outside of the HN and DR. 1 on 1 gets 5 players about 5 pops each between IS (2+) and JS(3+), outside of the DR and HN.

thank you this has been perfect. Btw is that buzzerbeater guide thread's training speed analysis link from 2007 still accurate?

There was a small change, around 10% of the training of the primary skill goes now to cross-training.
