too late to scout for draft?

I was getting ready to start scouting for the draft which begins in the next day or so. I opened the draft page, so the 48 players to be scouted and clicked scouting combine. After I clicked it, I was redirected on to an error page. I went back to the draft page and saw 10 scouting points deducted from my total scouting points but I can't see the 48 players anymore. It now says "The scouts are still looking for prospects and writing down rumours about their abilities. They don't have a full list of players yet so please check again later"

So is this a glitch or is it really too late to scout for the draft?

the deadline was sunday night before it changed to Monday.....I assume it's Monday where your living so......yeah it's too late to scout.

That's a bit weird to see the draft closed already... I remember last season I was able to use the points from the financial update that was on the draft deadline and the ranking wasn't locked until off-season processing began later that day.

I read the news but I didn't notice the bit about the deadline being put forward a day. Last season the deadline was after the financial update and I was certain it was going to be the same this season.

I've used all the points I had and set my draft order already, but I'm peeved at not being able to interview a couple of prospects I was going to interview as soon as the upcoming financial update occured.

I'll admit that I made a mistake in not noticing that the draft deadline had been changed, but I still think it's stupid of them to have put it forward a day when some people, myself included, may have been planning to get some last minute scouting done after the financial update.

While past seasons may have been slower in closing down scouting, there's not a whole lot of ambiguity in: Draft order must be submitted before 8/19/2012.
