OD can be trained and with ball handling. very slow but it's a another way.
here you can see it:

Ball Handling
PG:
Trains HN @ 1-2 weeks
Trains DV @ ?
Trains OD @ ?

PG/SG:
Trains HN @ 2-3 weeks
Trains DV @ 3-4 weeks
Trains OD @ 7-8 weeks

PG/SG/SF:
Trains HN @ ?
Trains DV @ ?
Trains OD @ ?
only for 2 position training is stated how long would it take to get a pop in skill.

That is beacuse handling training is considered by 99.99% of managers to be a worthless choice even worse than the despised shot blocking. Almost no-one ever does it. I know I never have and I have been involved with the Australian U21 team and we have monotored about 60 players this season and none of them ever had any handling training. Perhaps if it did improve OD a lot faster it could be useful.

yea I know, but I just wanted to be clear that pressure isn't the only way. the question was:

is that the only way?

and answers were:

Yes.

Yes it is.

that is not correct.
I just corrected the wrong answers. will he or will he not train ball handling is on the OP.

and I don't agree with this part:

That is beacuse handling training is considered by 99.99% of managers to be a worthless choice even worse than the despised shot blocking.

people consider that it is worthless to train ball handling because everything else (JS, JR, PRESSURE, 1on1 and PASSING) train ball handling quite quickly. ball handling is important to reduce number of turnovers (to increase offensive flow with passing).

Well I guess the accuracy of my answer depends on if you want a sensible answer or an answer that includes all possibilities no matter how silly.

Which answer is better?

Will the draft happen this week?

Well I can't say because there could be an explosion of the sun and then entire earth could be consumed in a giant fireball or there may be some coding difficulties that cause the entire WWW to implode...

Yes. Probably on Wednesday.

I never said I don't like the handling skill, I said training it is a bad option because as you pointed out, it is trained by so many other things anyway.

And sorry if I was too harsh. I am cranky as hell today for a variety of stupid reasons and I should just take a chill pill sometimes.
