-- Please post your general questions about training in the help forums (/BBWeb/Forum/read.aspx?folder=64). This thread is training speed analysis only

-- Have in mind that since this thread was opened, the coaches in BB have changed. An old 9-10 coach is now equal to a level 5 coach, old 7-8 is equal to 3, and so forth. Levels 6 and 7 are new, and they work very slightly better than an old level 10 coach.

This thread is a continuation of Training Speed Analysis (381.1).

If you have any ideas, post them here or post your team's results here and we'll try to figure out some base ideas for each type.

Last week, I trained Free Throws and 7 out of 19 players popped. While they obviously could be high or low sublevels, based on that alone it would seem to take approximately 2.5 weeks for Free Throws. If anyone else has trained Free Throws, feel free to agree or disagree.

With as many users as there are now, it shouldn't take too long to figure this out.

All Guesses assume a Level 9/10 trainer and 18/19 year old trainee. (GM edit: A level 9/10 coach is a lvl 5 coach now.)
Stamina and Free Throws do NOT depend on trainer level.

Misc notes:
From BBMark, "We do give taller player bumps in rebounding, and shorter players bumps in handling in terms of how fast they train for example"

From BBCharles, "Driving and handling are very, very similar skills, and training either one will now also result in about 80% of training on the other."

From BBDomenico, "I've been inspecting our code, and we don't have osmosis training."

If you wish to help, (381.937) is an excellent example of how to do so.

ok it should be like this
one on one team training with level 4 trainer:
driving:
3 weeks(low level of skil)
4 weeks normally
handling
3-4 weeks(short player,low skill and 18-19 YO)
4-5 weeks normally up to 6 weeks if player is tall, more than 21yo and high level of handling
probably 14-16 weeks JS
IS=???(no data)

this is my opinion, can you add like that WFU03?

Shouldn't be that hard to work out if you look at the names of the skills.

PS - Passing
HN - Handling
DV - Driving

If you have other language than English it might not be too easy actually.

Actually, I originally had what each one stood for at the bottom of the first post. The post got longer and longer and it deleted the info. Perhaps I should add it again in the second or third post.

This could be worth updating: "All Guesses assume a Level 9/10 trainer ". Should it be comparable with level 5 trainer now or?
