Press Announcements

Change of manager as NZ U21 look to kick on into the future

There's been a change at the helm of the NZ U21 team, with hoddy taking over from Te-Ariki for the 2 upcoming seasons.

The new manager is no stranger to the job, managing the team in seasons 18/19 and 28/29, with the 28th season bringing the country it's only trophy with a bronze in the Asia U21 Championship Tournament.

This seasons side looks talented, but lacking in depth, so game shape of the top players will be crucial. There are good opportunities to train NZ players, so don't be shy to get onto the transfer market and keep in touch with hoddy directly about how your player fits into his plans.

On behalf of the NZ community, a massive thanks to Te-Ariki on the job that he has done with the team as well as his huge amount of work on the off-site and in training many future NT prospects, we wish you well for a deserved break from U21 NT duties.

Hopefully we can all work together to bring great success to the nation of New Zealand! #TrainKiwis
