Season 28, second group phase

After a first group phase without surprise where Malaysia take the 4th and last qualifying spot, the second group phase will be a lot harder. With Iran (24), Australia (12), Taiwan (17), Singapore (29) and Philippines (11), all teams are ranked in the world top 30.

At this point, a win for Malaysia would be a surprise but surprises often happen...

First game was a loss by 15 against world #24 Iran, it should be considered as a good result considering how seriously Iran regarded us. This win may cost them a lot, as for us, we will have to wait a bit more to surprise the world.

Australia, the best team of the group, beat us by 23 points we resisted during one half. Then a new loss against Taiwan by 16 despite a good defensive performance. We still have 2 games to make a surprise happen!
