Hello leaguemate :)
i still thought this is an attractive package for $36,000 salary, but then i noticed further his shooting pct. was quite poor, below 40%. hmm, maybe not such a good judge of talent?
Did he have a high foul rate? What day and time did the player's auction end? I don't think he's that bad, either.
so, here's the question: is there a consensus about optimum ratio of JS to JR and IS?
It depends on the offense you run and the division + league you're in. A 3-point shooting team might want guard with 15-17 JS, 12-14 JR, and 8 IS in D3. A team that plays LI/LP may want a guard with 15 JS, 9 JR, and 10 IS.
would a JS 12, IS 10, and JR 10 produce a more effective shooter than the current JS 17, IS 7 and JR 8?
Overall, the 17 JS guy should shoot better on jumpers in general. The 12 JS guy would be more cost effective, but would brick jumpers against a guard with 13+ OD.
