got a little too cute in the opener. went reverse patient and normal with our customary 3-2 zone, but Nigeria also deployed a 3-2 and took Mamoepa right out of his groove as he wemt a sordid 12-43 and we got thumped by a dozen 89-77. the next two weeks are gimmes but it was a lesson hard earned. not the result i wdnted but was about what i expected.

Kind of still feeling our way this season. We need some players to develop and be in position to step up, but there is time yet. No one in the pipeline really looks ready to break out, but that should change. The good thing is this season is wide open and we are in the mix. Tommorow against Tunisia will give us a good idea of where we are.

Today against Morocco was high drama indeed! I did not bother to look at the roster this morning so I missed out on the ability to bring back one of our big men from injury but we managed to survive the game anyway! I'm noticing teams are starting to sit on it for a little bit tactic wise since our God is far and away the best scoring option but today I was able to cross things up a little bit got good support around from other players and managed to win the game to literally at the buzzer! but I guess that's why they call the game buzzer beater! We are in good shape going into the next round we will be seeded fourth but I think that's okay because all that matters is making it into the final four and then we can see where the chips fall. Keep training your players! and if there's someone in the pipeline you think I need to take a closer look at let me know because we have plenty of call-ups that can still be used.

The goal is to get to the final four and see what happens. This week we can bury Egypt once and for all and pretty much deal the deal. Then it will be about seeing how well we can develop and on how we can best attack Nigeria and Senegal. It's pretty much a six man effort as we just lack depth. Several players who have had spots on this roster just never got any training which is unfortunate. If they had we would be in great shape. As it is however we can still compete because we have THE MAN! And our bigs have the right skills, the PG and SF spots are ably manned as well. However next season is looking really rough. But we will worry about that when the time comes.

Tough loss last week, tougher opponent this week. A warrior (that is his screen name) is a American manager who has come back into the fold after a absence and who is looking for higher end (MVP or higher) drafteees to purchase, so keep that in mind when your picks come in. Train train train those guys you have and don't forget to let me know about those making progress.

Hello! As coachlambini mentioned, I'm a long-time manager who is just returning to the game after a year away and am hoping to pick-up some trainees next season to help out. Tough finish this season but looking forward to the ones to come.

Ewald ter Avest (48757388) will probably get botified on monday !
Not a huge profile (19 yo + pot. 7 + 51 TSP) but he could be interesting in 4 to 5 seasons if well trained
