I am humbled to be elected over such a good manager like my opponent Driver. I will to my very best to be as successful as possible. If you have questions let me know, I will try to help you as possible, but it may take some hours since I am in vacation in Norway. For that reason I have to rely on Nachtmahr's last scouting results.

Today is the forst match against France- That is a tough challenge in the first match. I had just a short time for preparation (due to vacation) and we have some trouble with the form of some key players. So let´s see what´s possible in the first match.

I, unfortunately, won´t be online - at least in the first half. But I try to do my best to be there towards the end to explain what decisions i took.

1. Match: Sweden vs. France 98-113

I gambled and I lost. I put and outside focus and a 3-2 zone to be in range, if I hit, but unfortunately I lost the bet and so, a deserved loss i the start for this season. For the offense, I have chosen standard to have the team balanced in offense and I took the best available offensive player in the line-up. It partly works. Westerlund, Säfen and Smol were our best offensive player, Lövlind did what he supposed to to. Just Tjäderborg was a disappointment in the S5. He was not able to convert his power to the court. In general, we haven´t scored enough and so I lost the game. Hopefully. the next game can chance the course of the ship.

2. Match: Portugal vs. Sweden 108-106
It was a heartbreaking affair and I am really disappointed about about the end. It is always tough to loose, but to loose in the last second is really bitter. And at the end, I can´t really point with my finger on something what went wrong. Okay, we had a huge deficit at the rebounds (30-52), but on the other hand we had much less TOs (5-16) and in total we had more shots in total (93-88). And with this numbers, maybe the mistake was mine, when I was not brave enough ... and not sure enough to put an Inside GDP, which I thought about all week long. But now, with two defeats, all chances were gone to reach the next round. But I hope I will end this group with a positive record, and win as many games as I can.

Yeah ... kind of, maybe he doesn´t take the manager change in his decision. Anyway ... I am really disappointed, but the next chance to make it better is next week.

3rd match: Sweden vs. Slovenia 104-112
Another close game ... and another disappointing loss. Until 2:38 min it was a close game (98:98) and than the slovenian team overpowered us. At the end the shortage of rebound somehow played out (25-59) and even with a TO ration for us (4-13) it was maybe to much to overcome.

So the next game would be the next chance to win. but ...

Macedonia vs. Sweden 109-107
Another f***ing buzzerbeater-loss. Looks like i am not the most lucky NT -manager of the Swedish NT. The early injury of Gaudenty Smól, of course played a role in this match. He was scoring 100% until then. Of course we could discuss about the tactic. But with this team, where everybody can score from almost every spot on the court , I guess "Standard" is not to bad. The only thing, which i could put the finger ist the FT-ratio. 15/29 of FT´s, at the end was to much to overcome. Alone these 14 Points we missed from the line, would have created a clear victory.

So, last target: a 3-4 record. So three wins to get. and prepare for next season.
