(Drafted current player) Yeah what I was going to do was train him then sell him to get a better trainer and then hope to draft a good prospect or use the rest of the money to get better players

I have a level 5 trainer. Do you think it would be more beneficial to sell him now (Says I could get around 950k for him) or train him out and hope for the best

Lvl 5 trainer is great already for your division, maybe even too expensive unless you don't need to compete and just want to train. As long as you can train him optimally and don't have 3 better trainees, you can keep training him until you have better trainees. Would be a shame to pay your trainer while you don't have trainees.

And I agree that for lower divisions a Superstar potential is as high as you should go for, aim for 50 TSP for 18yo (at start of season) or 62 TSP for a 19yo, you should be able to get one for under 100k. You can train a superstar SF to 130 TSP so you really don't need a higher potential than superstar (also you wouldn't be able to afford the salary a capped MVP or higher player in DIV, those are 100k+ salary).

At this point do you think it would be better to just sell him and buy a prospect?

Oh I was going to ask. Would 3 start potential be good enough for d4 or should I aim for 4 star?

You mean in the draft? You should really try for a 4 star potential, 3 star is possible but not ideal.

Sorry, yes. I meant for drafting. I can get a 4 star potential most likely since I'm a middle of the pack team in my league. Plus I have like 70 recruiting points which I was thinking about using in the next few drafts. I guess I'll use it on this draft and then depending on what I get I will sell my player
