He probably trained for that.

Rajon Rondo who is in fact a real professionnal has better 3pt percentage this year than he had FT %age last year for example.

In BB, using one week to train FT would improve FT for the whole team. I fail to see how that is inefficient training.

Is there any player on this planet shooting absolute 0%?

Is shooting FTs so different from a Jumpshot?

Actually that's not true. Rondo 3pt shooting was 36.5% this season and his FT % last year was 39.7%. And also for his career, Rondo's FT% is more than double his 3pt%. I don't think any NBA player has ever had a higher 3pt% than FT% for a single season let alone over a career.

Anyways, we're not talking about his free throw shooting just being worse than his 3pt shooting. This guy's player has literally never hit a FT over his entire career. Including all games he's 0-285 on FTs. He's also 29-87 on 3 pointers. He can hit contested shots from 25ft out but he can't hit free throws? It doesn't matter what he's training that just doesn't make any sense.

I want to be clear that I'm not complaining about him shooting 0% from the line, I really don't care I just found it funny and wanted to share. when I actually do decide to make a push in utopia he won't be on my final roster, so I haven't felt the need to change training really

I do remember once getting an FT pop while training Jump Range so I guess some cross training is possible.

Bruce Bowen managed to do that in 02-03, although he hit more than 40% on FTs...

Still waiting for the unicorn professional that never hit a FT.
