Just thought id give some insight as well.
Looking at the play-by-play, your team was still in the game mid-3rd quarter (3 points down with just under 4 mins to go in the 3rd)
So whats happened after that?
Á. Nógrádi (H) was still in the game in the 4th quarter, and at the start the margin had blown to 12 points
It doesn't help that they got a buzzerbeater, AND first possession in the 4th and scored. you went from 10 points down to 15 in like 10 seconds over the quarter break.
The other thing i noticed was that, after both the Timeouts that YOUR team called in the 3rd and the 4th, Czech just basically dominated your team.
3rd quarter
2:44 79 — 71 Full timeout called by Magyarország.
- They missed one shot for the rest of the quarter (out of 5 i think).
the in the 4th
8:42 96 — 81 Full timeout called by Magyarország.
For the next few minutes, they didn't miss, OR your guys fouled them.
So maybe have a look at the starts for the first half, then the 2nd half, see what changed? Did ur guys suddenly stop shooting inside? Did they suddenly start driving more than passing?
So this suggests a few things - Potentially a stamina issue?
Or
Something which ive believed may have happened when GDP was introduced - in the game manual it says that as the game progresses, the 'coach' will adjust things up to best suit the game. I believe that when u GDP incorrectly, your coach has less ability to perform this job and as the game goes on, you get worse. (I don't have any stats to back this up btw).
It does certainly appear though that about halfway through the 3rd quarter, your guys just stopped and his offense just accelerated.
The PP100s is also an interestng stat.you got beat at every position except C. and you got massively beat at SG.
SG with low PP100s in a LI offense - Sounds like a Low IS vs high ID/SB situation to me.
anyways just some thoughts for you.
