BAYOU BENGALS — The Bayou Bengals have announced the departures of veteran power forward Abdrakhman Hasenov and 19-year-old point guard Algur Pärjasaar, reducing the team's roster from 14 players to 12.
The moves reflect a clear shift in the organization's direction as the Bengals prioritize player development, a tighter rotation, and flexibility in the transfer market.
“Fourteen players was too many for what we're trying to accomplish,” the Bengals' front office said. “We need meaningful minutes for the players we're building around. Hasenov and Pärjasaar weren't going to have the roles they needed here, and keeping them on the roster wasn't helping either side.”
Hasenov, 32, was released as the Bengals committed to their younger frontcourt. Pärjasaar, 19, became the second casualty of the roster overhaul, with the organization electing to concentrate its guard development on Walid Taflisi and Morris Reaves.
