Training could start to pay off

From day one the Express have concentrated on training big men. By the end of last season, youngsters Kenneth Arnold and Lonnie Nixon were starting to be able to hold there own against the veterans around the league. The sale of veteran Dave Macis solidifies the clubs commitment to their young big men.

The Express will still rely on veterans to fill the back court positions. It could be some time before the other three positions are not being filled by 30-36 year old vets.
