Goodbye

As season 22 gets ready to begin, my tenure as Misr U21 coach comes to the end. During the two years I had the honor of coaching the team accomplished quite a bit. Among those accomplishments:

1. World Ranking went from 96th to 32nd
2. 2nd in the African Cup
3. Came within one win in the last game of pool play of advancing to the final round of the world U21 championships (two of our loses came against the 1st and 2nd place teams)
4. Highest ranked U21 squad in Africa

We had some disappointments with the biggest one NEVER beating Senegal in three tries!

Thank you all of Misr for the oppurtunity to coach your team and thank you to all of the owners of players who made the team such a good one. I learned a lot from the experience and will continue to follow the U21's and NT even though I will not be a part of them.
