Forums seem quiet plus I have no work this week, so I thought that I'd offer some "Newbie help"
Line up (conservative, traditional, and basic).
12 to 15 players
1 PG + backup PG
1 SG + backup SG
1 SF + backup SF
1 PF + backup PF
1 C + backup C
and/or any three other positions who are flexible enough to handle any role.
If you check your Roster page long enough, you'll notice that your players have skills that make them play their best position well. A PG will mostly have good Handling and Passing skills, while a C will have good Rebounding and Blocking. If you want to play with plenty of SG make sure that with their skills they can cover the other positions well.
A team with 1 PG, 5 SG, 4 C, 2 PF is a bad line up. If you're an advanced player, and you know how things work, then you may try things your way. Take note, this is a newbie thread. So please stick to basics.
Minutes:
Try to make everyone play 48 minutes total in a week. When your player has played this much, then let him rest. There is no point in letting him play more. This will only tire him and his game shape suffers.
Age:
- The average younger player will train faster, and have less skills. The average older player trains slower, has a higher chance of skill deterioration, but has more skill than most average young players, and is cheaper to buy on the transfer market.
