Tar Team was likely cruising to the finals anyway, but now they're almost a lock!

Do not go too fast. As long as you're here, I won't be sure of reaching the finals. In previous seasons, you often made the #1 cry. I must admit that I don't understand how you manage to obtain such good results considering the salaries of your players, but I congratulate you.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

He is a master mind. His team held my team down to get 6 points in the 4th quarter. Scratching my head I only see that when playing a computer and 5k salaries.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to All.

Seeing as how coal tar is a byproduct of coal, would the proverbial lump of coal actually be actually welcomed by TarTeam as a present? Just curious!

Warroad & others are always dangerous, but you should be able to TIE every game the rest of the season now. HCA & max enthusiasm will put you in a really good spot come playoff time!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Just noticed that you've got a brutal first round match-up if the standings finished like this. Marjarlika has 4 $100k starters, including a $177k center!!! Not exactly a reward for 1st place.

My team is probably going to crash and burn next season. Not only am I training a bunch of scrubs every week, but my awful draft of a while back is really catching up to me. Somehow only got my 6th choice in the first round a while back when I really needed someone. And of course that guy capped really early and turned out worse than some *star* potential guys I've had. >< He's an ok backup but I really need a starter quality player as others age out.

It’s official, 2nd-5th place in the Big 8 is the NFC South and I’m the Falcons.

Hemet, didn’t you get the memo?

You’re supposed to CT the Lethargy, not some 5-9 scrub team.

No way! I’m limping my way to relegation… wondering if I should just blow it all up.

Id like to think I'm better than the buccs as I had a lot of early season losses while setting up my team. Although I did blow it last game especially in the first quarter, I think that may be on me tactically.

Seems like you're still in really good shape! All those teams behind you have to play each other again, which helps. Plus your all-star week strategy may not end up even mattering, as you already had a big enough cushion.

(IMO, you would've won your last game had you not previously tanked your enthusiasm. Plus have been set up way better for the rest of the season. Now even if you split the next 2 games you've lost 3 of 4 games post AS break, hurt your PD, and still end up with lower enthusiasm than you otherwise would've had after all those games are finished)

You're way better than the Falcons! (And that other team you mentioned did already CT me a couple of times in the past, FWIW). Unrelated to anything, Warroad's making a really nice tournament run, 1 more win & they're in the elite 8!

@Dextah - Interesting that you were thinking about that. I was thinking myself about dropping down to 5th & throwing the relegation series. That way I could just relax and train easier in D3 for a while. It doesn't seem like there's enough games left for Arizona/Delta 9 to make up the difference though. Oh well.

BTW, am really impressed with the addition of outside offenses and 2-3 to your bag of tricks.

Before, it was strict 3-2 watch out for patient and LI (with both almost like defending a reverse patient). It was like a 50/50 chance at least lol. Now, you can still do the old, but the dimension of the outside offense and / or facing a 2-3 gives one pause when game-planning. Good luck the rest of the way, would love to see Vernon Linn hit the NBBA after so many seasons of kicking butt.

And good luck to you as well, Warroad!!
