In the past it didn't seem like homecourt won this much. However, I think this seasons talent is more even than the past which can lead to teams making sure to win their home game each week with the extra advantage it gives.

Here is the current MVP Race:

1. Philip Mrosla (Wasted Potential) 110 Expected Votes
2. Rudolph Bauer (Irvine Anteaters) 59
3. Brandon Burnette (Irvine Anteaters) 35
4. Alfonso Conejos (ETBU Tigers) 28
5. Konstantin Preobrazhenskiy (Mill City Thunder) 16

Next 5: Calvin Webb (Wasted Potential), Matthew Park (ETBU Tigers), Ty Maxwell (Telecasters), Vasja Metul (The LA Lions), Gibson Aboki (Triple Double)

In the past the MVP model has performed pretty well when it comes to what place in the voting people will be. However, the actual vote totals are normally off by a bit. Here is how it performed the last two seasons:

100% on guessing the 1st place finisher (In S56 it would have guessed correctly had I not excluded Mrosla from the rankings due to thinking he wouldn't be eligible after transferring teams)
70% of those predicted to be top 5 have finished top 5
80% of those predicted to be top 5 have received MVP votes
70% of those predicted to be top 10 have finished top 10

So overall it gives a good indication of the top MVP candidates.

I just picked up my 4th win in B3 and The LA Lions also is sitting at 4-2 so we are both advancing to the knockout stages. I know the knockout stages are easier to make now and the format is more fair, but this is the first time in 10 seasons that two NBBA teams have advanced to the B3 knockout stage in the same season.

I got on in time to see you blow it open in the 4th, that was a nice win riding your stars. You could do some damage. I thought we needed at least 5 wins and a top 32 PD to advance so I spent all day thinking I was out already but maybe we can pick up one more win if I have enough guys in decent gameshape next week.

With the new format 4-3 is good enough to advance. However, there are 64 teams in the knockout stages instead of 32 now.
