uhmmmm.... okay my rankings.... I don't know what $ everyone has in the bank, nor do I factor much for owner skill. So the w-l s are based mostly on salary.

1) Sloths (19-3)... sure, why not put a target on my own back... PP were overly modest last season and paid the price.
2) Beachlife (18-4)... honestly, they beat me every year and should probably be #1
3) BoomIsArt (18-4)... Going with the old timers here vs the new...
4) Panthers (18-4)... they get the salary nod over Mavs.
5) CC Mavs (18-4)... they are a smidge behind the other 18-4 teams, but...
6) Tigers (18-4) Fool me once... etc. lots of teams at 18-4... but last season they should have won but chose not to.
7) Balla Champs (14-8) They are trying to sell their 103k player... and may succeed, but if they dont, they fall in here. If they do, they drop to the bottom.
8) Retired_ (13-7) Surprised upwards last season, entirely capable of doing it again.

That rounds out the likely playoff teams....
9) Illiniwek (2-20) They are ranked 9th, because I KNOW they have money, and 2 good players could land them at least here, depending on speed of acquisition.
10) Pittsburgh (3-19) see above...
11 Lizards (3-19) see above....
12) H-Town Ballers (9-13) will battle...
13) Tropics (9-13)
14) Lahsar (7-15)
15) Greeen Peppers (7-15)
16) Souljas (0-22) unlike the other old timers, they need to acquire at least 3 players to compete, which is tougher... not sure they are planning to bother.

You're welcome :) I didn't take into account (obviously) a few of day 1s results, but I did expect to lose to the Tigers at their place. Maybe I've lit a fire under them to play up to their potential this year?

Edit> and oh yeah, injury to a starter game 2.. swell!

Power Rankings
The power Rankings are updated for the first 5 games.
1. Retired 5-0 The only undefeated team left is truly number 1
2. Beachlife 4-1 A preseason favorite in the great 8, has not disappointed
3. CC Mavs 4-1 I felt confident in the Mavs before the season and they have showed up. Fun Fact, a newly promoted team has the Great 8 in back to back seasons the Mavs may make it 3
4. Galloping Sloths, 3-2 The Sloths have played well despite two losses. Luis Alba continues to carry them offensively
5. Boom is Art 3-2 Boom is Art made it through their tough stretch intact and will likely beat SM and Pittsburgh
6. West Side Tigers 3-2 The Tigers fought well against Retired but lost. Still an overall solid that could make some noise
7. Lahser 3-2 Another new promote making noise at 3-2 although they are in opposite situation of Boom is Art with though matchups against #1 Retired and West Side
8. Green Peppers 3-2 The peppers find themselves in 5th place despite a 3-2 record, a home game against Sloths may prove divisive
9. Snake River Panthers 3-2 The panthers had a tough loss against Beachlife, but could easily shoot right back in the rankings
10. The Tropics 3-2 Aside from their opening win against Boom is Art, the Tropics have looked very mediocre
11. BallaChamps 2-3 The ballachamps have been competitive but they just canā€™t seem to win.
12. SM Lizards 1-4 The lizards won a game, albeit against Pittsburgh at home which doesnā€™t carry the same weight as it used to.
13. Souljaā€™s 1-4 They beat Illiniwek in the opener, so a win is a win
14. Illiniwek 0-5 Winless, Illiniwek is tanking and it shows
15. Pittsburgh Pressure 0-5 Where do I begin with myself? We lost as many games this season as the previous 2 combined and will be last 3 by next week. We are tanking yes. We finally showed up for a game and lost in overtime. Karl Crum scored 54 against SM Lizards, if only he could have done that the CONFERENCE FINALS LAST SEASON! Weā€™d be in D2
16. H-Town Ballers 2-3 By rule a bot is automatically sent to the bottom of the rankings unless their are multiple bots.
