Looks like we all get some easy wins this season with all of the bot teams. Nobody has posted anything in a long time so I figured I'd start us a thread and see who is active. If I have time this week I will do some power rankings for fun. I did that many seasons ago before I stopped playing for a couple of years. Good luck the rest of the way guys.

Power Rankings 12/26/19

This is just for fun so feel free to agree, disagree, discuss

1. Penamoa88…definitely in “win now” mode with a team full of talented but aging players. They will be tough with two top of the line superstars. If they get one more before the playoffs it could guarantee them the championship.

2. Omnipresent Supergalactic…Two very good young bigs, but will they make a big splash to get a guard or two to unseat Penamoa?

3. Hansberry Bengals… Two great bigs, but lack of guard play will keep them from beating the top dogs

4. Star Destroyers…The most intriguing team to me. Huge roster, star players young and veteran, developmental players. Very interested to see their future moves. Don’t sleep on them.

5. The Moosketeers…Looks like the old rebuild on the fly to me. They are solid, but it feels like they are looking to the future more so than the present.

6. The Lone Wolf…solid players top to bottom, but no major stars will keep them from being true competitors

7. Tampa Bay Raiders…Youngest roster in the league, focused on building for the future. Salary just above the minimum so no secret that they aren’t contenders yet.

8. Miami Makers…Building a team the right way so far. Build up the young guys

9. - 16. Who cares? Bot teams suck!

My young trainees are actually SF's. Their ID barely outpaces their OD and they can score anywhere. I will complete their training at the end of this season and focus on some new 18yr olds.

The top team of each conference are playing on Tuesday.
That would be my squad, Omnipresent Supergalactic Oneness vs Penamoa88.
This could be some foreshadowing of the League IV.16 Championship match. Will Penamoa88 try a counterpick or switch up their tactics? Or will the young guns and tactics from OSO prove to be too much?

Probably a Championship preview in my opinion. I'm interested to see who draws first blood. I'm going with Penamoa by a last second game winner in overtime...

Anyone else care to give a prediction?

In my previous post, I was basically saying "unless he attempts a counterpick and changes up his scheme he will likely lose."
That turned out to be exactly the case. I won by 12, and I'm happy my poor 3pt and FT shooting didn't come back to haunt me.
I still won in practically all other categories: Rebounds (TR +9, OR +9), Assists (+9), TO (-5), Steal (+3), Block (+8), and PF (-7).

And to answer your original posting about OSO filling in the PG/SG positions, I did. Not neccessarily with D3 talent, but above average for D4 to be sure ;-). Plus my trainees are still best at PF/C until I get a true C.

Thanks, guy! Need to make some drastic changes to my roster in order to compete. Need a true PG and a true C. I was just using salary efficient players for D IV
