hello everybody. I was talknig to GM-domenico today and we were chating about how all of us players need to get together as a community to start figuring out everything behind buzzerbeater, to better understand the game and to be able to help on its improvement. So we can start discussing our personal experiences with stuff like training, changing of ticket prices, game strategies, etc.

For example, did anybody tried to get the ticket prices raised for this month, with the finals and all? I would ilke to know how did that go...

About training, I'm traiing Jump Shot for 6 weeks now. None of my players pop twice yet, so I still can't conclude anythig about the time it takes, but hopefully I will be able to start analysing that soon. Let's everybody follow the training carefully to try to understand precisely how it works.

my first wild guess about training:

"a player will take around X weeks to pop up a skill, where X is the current level of that skill, considering that he has a level 10 coach and is training the minimum possible number of players."

(by "training the minimum possible number of players" I mean for example training only PG/SG for Jump Shot, or only PF/C for Rebounding)

this is just a first guess guys...

Free throws pops quite frequently as well. Also, just because you are training one thing, doesn't mean you wont get pops in other areas. For example, I was training inside def and got a pop in driving. Not exactly sure how that works(freq) but just wanted to throw it out there.

My MSN is vikman3001@yahoo.com and AIM is vikman3001 if anyone wants to talk.

Going along with that...maybe add IM info to profile?

Training Jump Shot I also got pops in Handling and in Jump Range.

But fo sure the amount they receive on these other skills is very very small, and this pops were probably because the player was very high on that skill.

Marcel "ActionMan" Natividade (342680), best brazilian player on BB, has stamina 9.

(25.9 ppg on the regular season and 34.7 in the playoffs)

he played.. 22 points, and the clutch three that brought the game back to only 1 possession with a few seconds left...
It was an amazing game... The best ever, even though I lost...

too bad they fouled Anselmo on that buzzer-beating game-tieing trey... (JS respectable, FT inept)
