Allow me to explain. Under the substitution tactic, there are 4 options. "Let Coach Decide" means the AI(coach) has total control over who plays. "Coach Picks From Depth Chart" is basically half AI(coach) and half what you set as the lineup. "Strictly Follow Depth Chart" means that the coach strictly follow your lineup, making sure your starters get a majority of the minutes. Finally, "Depth Chart Until 4th" means the coach strictly follows your set lineup, then the AI(coach) takes over in the 4th quarter and decides who will play best. If you selected the 2nd or 3rd options, that's probably why your starting SG played the last few minutes since they're the starter, and your starters are most likely to play in crunch time.
