Hello all and welcome to Season 32. Firstly, congratulations go out to Bethnal Green Erks on winning promotion back to the EBBL, we all wish you the best in your attempts to become an established EBBL team however you will be missed here.

Next, congratulations to the five newly promoted teams (five this season due to Yellow Penguins going BOT) which are Horny Donkeys, Shazam, Baldock Bullets, Evil Red Smurfs and JumP-HigH. Shazam, Baldock Bullets and Evil Red Smurfs have all had previous stints in a division II league whereas the other two teams are entering for the first time.

This season will definitely be a close one on either side of the division with plenty of teams having the ability to compete in a playoff run to push for promotion. On the blue side, BC Snaiperiai will be looking to recover from his playoff defeat whilst Whetstone Wizards, Optic Fibres and Doncaster Hawks will be looking for consecutive playoff spots however with the rise of Leeds Lads, KK ALYTUS and Lithuania BC in the latter of last season, all playoff spots will be competed for throughout. How will Horny Donkeys fair also?
On the red side, with the departure of Bethnal Green Erks and four of the five promoted teams on this side, it looks a touch weaker but still has some strong teams worthy of pushing for that elusive promotion at the end of the season. Southern European will be favourites to regain top spot whilst Kotwa will be looking for a fourth consecutive playoff spot. Cambois Donkeys will also be a threat with his inside duo, ending last season extremely strong. Will the Admirals regain a playoff spot after a quiet season last term?
So, will one of the newly promoted teams claim back to back promotions? Who will win the battle of the Donkeys between Cambois and Horny? What side of the division will be victorious in the interconference games? But most importantly, who will be progressing to the EBBL in 14 weeks?

Good luck to all teams, I look forward to hearing from you all on the forums (it was a very sociable forum last season - let's keep that up) and matching up to you later in the season, let the games begin!

Hello everyone!

Nice to finally be in a group with an active forum. As you can probably tell I am not a 100% ready to be here and I only decided topromote after semifinals where there was a fairly big upset and leader of the group got knocked out. looking ahead though, need a few more players and hopefully I wont be heading back!

Welcome to the league mate, we hope you can stay here and enjoy your time in the division! As for your season, a few teams last season played out the first half season losing majority of games and then signed few players after saving cash to win the relegation series and stay in the division. Not saying you should try that approach, but you do have time. Also, in recent seasons, a few teams have gone bot half way through the season resulting in relegation - but let's hope that doesn't happen as we don't want to lose any teams.

Good luck on your season, on behalf of the division, if you need help, please feel free to ask.

Just my first comment - any team has arrived from the EBBL in our league? No, right?

Wow. we really lucked out there.

Looking forward to having a season where I can be competitive from game 1. Promotion is definitely out of reach unless I decide to invest a bit more, but I'd like to think we'll be in for another fairly open season.

Also, best of luck to js8 for the U21 election!

Hey Lazzy congrats on getting promoted!
You have a nice arena that should hopefully bring in lots of money if you set your ticket prices right, I've seen smaller arenas even in the EBBL before so your certainly not in a bad position there.

The game is definitely more enjoyable with a more active forum and league, I remember my old division 3 was a bit of a ghost town!

Good luck for the season!

I'm not going to be competing for the top posts this season, so it looks like the red conference is going to be quite below its potential this time... it will be interesting to see the balance when the cross-conference games finish but I'm pretty sure last season's win is not going to repeat again. We'll see in 2 seasons!

I'm not going to be competing for the top posts this season

With Szynal, Alvarez and Capili, I'm not sure that's true - they gave many teams problems last season.

Optic Fibres has made a couple of big off season moves in the last few days, the tough teams just got even tougher! (:|
