There is no reason to tank unless you have a very bright trainer and lots of cash on hands after big sell, especially in D3.
For new manager, you need money to expand your arena, also need to improve your roster to reach a suitable level. No matter in D1, D2, fans will not come to watch the game, if you tank. Your income per game and Merchandise,per week will drop. And the most important thing is, the income will lower than you could operate your team, it mean "bankrupt" is always waiting for you if you can't change your team's position or the condition of your roster.
1.Do more research, try to find out how to improve your club up to 4-5th place, but "never do too much".
2.Feb.16/2015 is the deadline to change the ticket price of your area before all-star game. Find out which price you set will get a max. benefit under your arena expansion plan.
