I'm in league V.116 and I'm 11-0, but I was wondering if there was any way I could spend another season in that league. My team wouldn't make it too good in Division IV so I wanted another season to get my money straight. If anyone could tell me a way to do that I would be grateful. Thanks!

Lose. Don't win all your games. Make sure you only win 17-18 and then do not win your league. Then you can spend another season down there. However, I think purposely not trying to promote when you are clearly a top team in your league is silly. It is ALWAYS better to promote even if you might struggle at the next level in my opinion. You get a big fan survey and attendance boost for the next season if you win your league and promote as well as prize money if you win your league. That money and boost next season can help you expand your arena or get better trainees, or better skilled players. Not to mention the IV leagues are much more exciting than the V leagues. Try to promote. It is worth it.

As EBW said, you need to lose a few games. Even with 17-18 wins you could find yourself promoting due to bot promotion (depends on how many bots are in higher divisions and how other D V team do this season). You need to make sure you are not the top of your conference and don't win the finals, but this still no guarantee.

I would recommend winning every game before a home game and throwing a few others. I'm not a big fan of throwing games, but if you really want to stay in D V you will need to.

I put two players in my starting lineup, will that help me lose? I'm keeping my worst player and my draftee in my starting lineup.

Idk about your question, but a warning. I was 3rd place in my league and lost in the quarterfinals of the playoffs and yet I still got promoted to DIV. If your team is 11-0 in V, you should do ok in IV. I lost like 5 or 6 games in V and am sitting in a relegation playoff spot right now.

You need to dress at least 3 players to avoid a walkover. I would highly recommend avoiding walkovers as you don't get training, it messes up training for other teams (not a big deal if you're playing bots), and you drop draft positions.

To lose intentionally though, I would recommend only dressing 3 players. The other 2 spots will be taken up by lucky fans (and they are terrible)

Since someone said EBW is right, and then went on to say how you should lose your games, I'd like to point out that indeed EBW was right, you should try to promote. It will be better for you, and your team. There's no real reason to stay in D5. You'll also learn far more in a more competitive league. You should spend as little time as possible playing bots.
