The above is a good breakdown, your players are just very foul prone. If your guys gets more than 1 foul per 10 minutes, he's gonna foul out every now and then. You have a team full of those guys. The above suggestion to find players who average below 1.5 fouls is a bit strict I think because you'll limit yourself and might miss out on otherwise good players, but anything above a foul per 10 minutes is a red flag.

I also thought that lucky fans resulted in more fouls in general?

Certainly! So that's why this game stands out, but I was talking about the averages to evaluate the players.

Foul-prone players are quite annoying for sure. But see if your players get fouled more often by opposing teams as well, because of their physicality. If they do, then it may be worth it to keep your "Bad Boy" team and train some Free Throws.

i also have a very similar team as the OP, but my players are young and if i develop their ID and OD skills, would that help in them being less foul prone?

Yeah it could help a little, but don't expect to see a world of change. Shotblocking on bigs also help reduce fouls, because if they have bad SB they will still try and block shots but foul most of the time.

For sure they do. Lucky Fans shot 56 of those 70 free throws.
(and made an amazing 7 of them!)
