The only league I was hoping not to promote into was II.4. Damn it...

oh, it's not as bad as it looks at first. It's actually worse. But the plus side is that everyone here is decent and active.

Hell ya! Plan worked to perfection. Tank out of II.1, bounce back one season later and land in this **** Hole. Exactly the way I drew it up......sigh.

I may have to play the "tank out of II.4" card this season. We'll see...

Good to hear, since the Season 24 thread in my D3 league less that 50 posts all season.

Yea it's not all bad. 4 seasons ago I tanked out of II.4 because of all the bad things I heard about it, and what do you know, I promoted right back to here! It will definitely make you a better manager though and it's always competitive.

So I was sitting around thinking how nice it would be if I ended up in an easy II series. Well, relatively easy, because I mean, come on, it's II. So I was like, just hit the right II and it'll be a cake walk, because there's nothing like being in the easiest II league.

And it happened - it's undeniably nothing like being in the easiest II league.

So a fond bite you to each and every one of you - old series rivals (in the sense that teams that kicked my butt relentlessly could be called "rivals") like Burger Chefs and Dog River, the many guys who I just happen to know from the forums because they earned their notoriety for being, you know, good managers and not just witty SOBs like me, and teams with names that remind me that I haven't eaten dinner yet (Burger and Fries).

Oh, and of course I'm in perfect shape to leverage that promotion bonus, what with my annual three-game road trip as the first third of the season ends and a heavily back-loaded home schedule.

Thanks J. You're a pal. Could have been more convincing.
