I don't know if anyone else wants to participate in the forums, but I think it would be kind of fun. So here's the place to talk with other managers, post press releases about your team, recaps, anything you want about your team.

D-League Callups, Preseason Analysis
The D-League Callups have officially blown up the team and started to rebuild. This year in the draft, they landed two promising young rookies, Samuel Cea Bueno (27256956) in the first round and John Haskins (27256963). Bueno, an offensively talented small forward, has shown a great ability to get separation for his shot and also a nice mid-range shot. He is also very active on the glass, using his 6'8" frame to box out and and rebound even against players who are bigger than him. The team hopes for him to work on his defense, as he struggles to guard quicker perimeter players, and improve his passing ability somewhat.

Haskins has really impressed coaches in preseason workouts with his speed and athleticism. Once considered a first-round pick, the talented shooting guard chose to return to school for his sophomore year. After an underwhelming performance, he saw his stock slip into the late second round, where the D-League Callups scooped him up with the 28th of 48 picks. Perhaps motivated by his slide, Haskins has come into camp with a vengeance and has shown flashes of brilliance, especially as a defender. He's also an excellent rebounder for his size and position and those who have seen him play say he reminds them of D-Wade, because he's a terrific shot-blocker despite being only 6'3". His shot is inconsistent, he struggles to handle the ball and run the offense, but with the sky's the limit for this kid. Already he's been named the opening-night starting point guard, and we'll see how he does. Check back in two hours to see Haskins and Bueno lead the team against the Holy Crusaders in the team's home opener at the Jam Events Center!
