Blue Devils.... I am in RDU now.
Here I can provide some of my personal experience with you.
1. Clean up un-useful players. Minimize your overall payroll. Save most of your money in the bank. Do not waste it to buy any so-so players.
2. Make 11-12 men roster list. Try to let everyone play for 45-70 min. Do not overuse them. Game shape is the most important thing in the game.
3. Select best two 18-yo players as your trainee, and make sure they receive 48+ min.
4. Hire a lv4 manager + lv3 doctor/manager. Then, importantly, invest ALL of your money into your arena in your first season.
5. In the begining, only focus on the game you have some chance to win, put your best lineups on that. Then tank another game. Winning some games will let your fans happy, and get more income. If you keep your players' game shapes good, you can easily beat those high salary guys.
6. Once your trainne grow up (1 year in DivV, and 2 year in DivIV would be enough), replace your other players with better players. Then get promoted to Div III.
Through the strategy, in the first two seasons you will always be an underdog. They will think your players look not so good. However, finally you will be the winner, and get promoted eariler than any of them.
